Tater Built Turbochargers specializes in upgraded direct replacement turbochargers for Cummins, Duramax and Powerstroke pickups. We also rebuild and upgrade S300 and S400 turbochargers. We engineer and manufacture for the diesel and high-performance industry, so every unit is built to fit and to perform.
Our warranty
We stand behind our products and expect them to last when used as intended. We also know these turbos get pushed hard, so we ask customers to be accountable for excessive abuse. We cover defects in parts and workmanship; the warranty does not cover installation errors, inadequate maintenance, or misuse.
Our turbochargers carry a one-year, unlimited-mile, non-transferable, limited parts-only replacement warranty. It does not apply when a turbocharger is stored improperly, used in the wrong application, or neglected.
Competition racing and sled pulling turbochargers are covered by a craftsmanship warranty only. These are high-intensity products sold with the understanding that they will be run in rigorous competition.
Returns
For most products we accept returns within 30 days, subject to a 15% cancellation fee. We do not accept returns on custom items such as welded downpipes, swap kits or twin kits, and we do not offer refunds or warranties on second-hand products.
How we work
We value respect and professionalism in every interaction. We reserve the right to void warranties in cases of libel, slander or infringement on social media or other platforms. Our goal is simple: keep our customers satisfied and their trucks performing at their best.
